DBC's Church History
Dearborn Baptist Church had its earliest beginnings as a church-planting mission endeavor of the Immanuel Baptist Church of Florence, Kentucky. The mission/church was organized into an autonomous, independent Baptist church on January 10, 1987 with fifty-two charter members.
Since 1990, the church has acquired 35 acres on State Route 48 in the heart of Dearborn County. We completed construction of a 300 seat sanctuary, classrooms and offices to accomodate increasing growth.
As of this year, Sunday attendance average 250 and membership is at 285. Today, there stands a strong, stable congregation of dedicated Christians - men and women, adults and young people, who love and desire to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ.
